The visual overhaul brings mixed improvements to these classic titles. The enhanced lighting system and weather effects add modern flair, while increased draw distances help showcase the scale of each city. However, the new character models are inconsistent - some look notably better while others appear awkward or lifeless compared to their original versions. Environmental textures have been upgraded with higher resolution assets, though the art direction sometimes feels at odds with the original aesthetic.

Performance-wise, the collection runs at 60fps on PS5 with few drops, though rain effects can cause occasional stuttering. Load times are significantly reduced compared to the originals. The implementation of GTA V-style controls brings welcome modernization - the weapon wheel, improved targeting, and GPS navigation make the games more accessible to modern players. Radio stations and iconic soundtracks remain excellent, though some songs are missing due to licensing issues.

The user experience benefits from numerous quality-of-life improvements. Updated checkpoint systems reduce frustration in challenging missions. The ability to immediately restart failed missions prevents tedious driving back to markers. Menu navigation and character customization are more streamlined. However, some original bugs remain unfixed, and new glitches have been introduced.

From a value perspective, getting three massive games in one package seems appealing, but the inconsistent quality of the remasters makes the premium price point questionable. While the games remain fundamentally enjoyable, competing remasters often offer more substantial improvements for similar cost.
